Ecuador Travel - Green Sea Turtle

Top List of Things To Do in Quito, Ecuador
During our Galapagos tour, we had hoped we would be #HangingWithTurtles, and guess what? We are! On our second day in San Cristobal island, we our snorkeling with Hammerhead sharks, Galapagos sharks, manta rays, sea lions and Galapagos Green Sea Turtles. The Galapagos Islands provide an incredible snorkeling experience for Ecuador travel.

Incredible photo. I have snorkeled with Nurse sharks, turtles, manta rays and spotted rays in Costa Rica, but I have to say I think that a Hammerhead would be terrifying. How was it snorkeling with them? The Caribbean side of Costa Rica and Panama are beautiful for snorkeling with beautiful colored coral and sea life. Guess I will just have to also add the Galapagos to my bucket list.

Fantastic photo!! I think I need to get a lumix tank. A drop of water on my Canon and it’s likely to explode.

I saw turtles on my first drift dive in Egypt. It really is a great experience, and I look forward to many more. I just have to remember to take a camera next time, like you did for the Galapagos Islands.

Yes, we were very prepared with our gear in the Galapagos, mostly because the blog is a big part of our business. These ancient reptiles are an incredible site.

Christy says:

Wow, I am taken by this photo of the sea turtle!:) What a beautiful place this is and how you make it sound, it makes me want to pack my bags and jet off, like, straightaway!;)

Christy, It is one of the most beautiful places in the world for wildlife viewing. Add it to your bucket list.

The Galapagos has been on my list for sooooooooo long!

And it was on ours too. That’s a big check on our bucket list.

Truly an amazing photo! So close and so colorful, and I love the reflections from the surface of the water.

Adam says:

Wow,I am so envious. How long are you guys in Ecuador and what camera did you use for this awesome sea turtle pic?

Adam, This is an 8-day Galapagos Tour with G Adventures. And the camera is just our little Lumix tank, that is waterproof and shock proof. The water was so clear and the turtle so shallow that it made for the perfect shot.
