Isla de la Plata is located off the Pacific Coast of Ecuador and can be accessed via Puerto Lopez, Ecuador and is part of Machalilla National Park. The island is home to nesting seabirds including the intriguing blue-footed boobies, frigate birds, red-footed boobies and pelican birds.
