Key Biscayne National Park is one the best Beaches in Florida
Key Biscayne Fl is one of the most beautiful islands located just off the coast of downtown Miami. If the Miami beaches are too crowded or too full of tourists, drive over the Rickenbacker Causeway to Key Biscayne and visit one of the many beaches or parks for a day of sun, grilling and swimming amongst the tropical trees of Miami as captured in the travel photo.
If you are visiting Miami, don’t forget to take one of the most scenic drives in America down to the Florida Keys for a Key West Sunset.

Love Key Biscayne. Was there several years ago and shocked at how empty it was.
We will be going there today. You are right, it’s often empty, one of the reasons we love going there, getting away from South Beach occasionally.
On our road trip we drove the entire coastline of Florida, from St. Augustine, to Key West, through Tampa, along the panhandle to Pensacola. The most fabulous beaches we found were on a small (100 mile) stretch in the panhandle known as the Emerald Coast. Unbelievable powdery white sand and turquoise blue water – like nothing we’ve seen before. Best of all, Grayton Beach is part of a state park with zero commercial development. This area of the state is harder to get to than the more popular beaches on the Atlantic, but it’s well worth the effort.

Great beach shot. I don’t make it over to the beaches around Miami enouh. I’m always distracted by the great beaches here in southwest Florida.
